How Much will my alterations cost?
Your alterations cost will be determined at your first fitting. It depends on how many layers of fabric, If there is any bead work or alpliques.
Plus, We may find something fun to redisign that you haven't thought of. I will do your fitting, pin your gown and then we discuss the price. I can give a rough estimate over the phone with details.
What should I bring with me to my fitting?
Please bring the shoes you are going to wear so we can get the hem correct. Please bring your bra, or corset, and your veil, headpiece and jewelery so we can see what the finished product will look like. Please bring someone who will help you get dressed so we can go over the bustle, and any other special items on your gown.
Do you charge for a consutation?
No, Your first fitting is free, this is when we discuss the price. I also do not charge my clients for steaming and pressing like alot of other alteration shops. I press and steam for free so I can make sure the fabric is laying correctly and that all alterations, and every bead look just perfect.
When do I need to pay?
I do not begin any alterations without having paid in full. I accept Visa, MC, check and cash. We can discuss any payment options at your first fitting.
What else do you alter?
I can do vintage gowns, prom dresses, suits, christening gowns, costumes, jeans, including that original sevens hem, bridesmaids, mother of the bride, and flower girl. I can add embelishments to ring pillows, headpieces and veils. I can pretty much do it all!
